My name is Tali, I’m 8 years old.

At school I see children coming without lunch. On TV, I hear grownups talking and saying about how they will make the world better.

All around I feel the sadness of people who are hungry and suffering.

In 2023 I came up with the idea of Cangive. My school and kindergartens donated 3 truckloads of food which changed the lives of many families.

It gave me happy tears to hear how Cangive opened children’s eyes to people who were doing it tough.

Every year I want Cangive to help more people. In 2025, during National Homeless Week, Cangive invites you to donate cans, even run your own Cangive collection.

If your family is struggling and you can’t give a can, you can help too. The next time you see someone doing it tough, give them a smile. Make them feel loved.
